Contract: Summer 2023 (July-August)
Kitchissippi Productions is looking for a highly motivated and organized Events Coordinator to join our team. As an Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of events, ensuring each one is a memorable experience for our clients.
Collaborate with the Kitchissippi Productions team to plan, organize, and execute events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and expectations, ensuring they are met and exceeded.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure smooth event execution.
Develop and maintain event budgets, timelines, and logistics.
Oversee event setup, breakdown, and clean-up, ensuring all activities are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve any event-related issues that may arise.
Monitor and evaluate event performance, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have official refugee status.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Previous experience in event planning or coordination is an asset, but not required.
